SapShad is a series of Pontoon21 hard baits, intended for pike fishing in shallow parts of ponds.
The inner balance system consists of a metal ball in the head and balls, freely moving from the pelvic treble hook to the tail. Movable balls contribute to a long-range cast, because on casting they slide towards the tail, changing the center of mass of the lure. Due to that, SapShad is perfect for such conditions when a long-range cast is not just a good quality, but a necessity, for instance, while fishing for pike or asp in large waters. The conditions and predators that SapShad is intended for predetermine preferable usage of various styles of retrieves that is why this series was originally designed to have a stable action at any manipulations. The main component of this stable and at the same time energetic action is rolling. This action helps the high body with flat sides to emit vibrations well tangible from afar, as well as creates a lot of specks in water, causing additional visual effect. At the retrieve (especially if it isn’t a straight one) movable balls of the inner balancing system, in its turn, create interesting traits in the action of the lure in the form of residual vibrations at a pause and sounds from the moving balls inside the plastic body.
